Antidumping obligation (“AD”) and countervailing obligation (“CVD”) investigations are introduced collectively by the U.S. Worldwide Commerce Fee (“USITC”) and the U.S. Division of Commerce (“Commerce”). Full scope right here.

Subsequent Steps

The Commerce Division will decide whether or not to provoke the investigations inside 20 days. The USITC will attain a preliminary willpower of fabric harm or menace of fabric harm inside 45 days.

As with every continuing, participation is essential to guard your rights. We urge anybody who imports massive diameter graphite electrodes from China and India to pay shut consideration to this case and to make sure that all applicable steps are taken to mitigate any harm.

AD/CVD investigations may end up in determinations antagonistic to respondent pursuits for years that would successfully prohibit entry to the U.S. market. Failure to successfully take part in investigations can put exporters and importers at a big drawback.
