Gunmen fired shots at motorist during possible robbery in Uptown, two more robberies reported nearby


CHICAGO — A gunman fired photographs at a person as he parked his automotive at a North Aspect park early Tuesday, probably throughout a theft try, in line with Chicago police and a supply. Not less than two different robberies had been reported on town’s North Aspect inside hours.

In Uptown, a 50-year-old man was parking his automotive at Margate Park within the 4900 block of North Marine Drive round 12:15 a.m. when 4 males began tapping on his driver’s window, a CPD spokesperson mentioned.

An officer on the scene mentioned the suspects had been 4 Black males carrying masks and hoodies.

About six minutes later, a 41-year-old man was robbed within the 1300 block of West Winona. He instructed police he was strolling when three males walked up, and two displayed weapons, a CPD spokesperson mentioned. The unarmed robber took the sufferer’s property, and the crew fled in a white SUV.

The suspects in each robberies had been described as Black males carrying black clothes and masks.
