Announcements: Inadvertent Negligence in Criminal Law Conference; Perspectives on Willful Blindness and Mistakes of Fact Workshop; CfS Terrorism and Belligerency Workshop

1. Criminalising Carelessness: Inadvertent Negligence in Legal Legislation. The Analysis Group “Legal Legislation Concept” on the Max Planck Institute for the Research of Crime, Safety, and Legislation is organizing a convention on the subject of inadvertent negligence in felony regulation. 2. Blame for Ignorance? – Views on Willful Blindness and Errors of Truth. The Analysis Group “Legal Legislation Concept” is organizing a workshop in cooperation with the College of Göttingen to deal with the theoretical, doctrinal, and sensible problems with willful blindness and (culpable) errors of truth. The workshop will happen from 5 – 7 September 2024 in Freiburg/Germany. For additional info and registration, see right here.

3. Name for Submissions: Terrorism and Belligerency Workshop. This workshop Balancing Contradicting Human Rights Obligations in Armed Conflicts and Counter Terrorism will happen in Prague, Czechia, from 2 – 4 December 2024. This workshop is carried out in collaboration of Minerva Middle for the Rule of Legislation below Excessive Circumstances, College of Haifa, with The Institute of Legislation and Expertise, Masaryk College. The appliance deadline is 12 August 2024. Submissions are invited from each skilled researchers, and early profession researchers (specifically PhD candidates, Submit-Doctoral fellows, and students as much as 5 years after the completion of their PhD). The organising committee goals to make sure a superb steadiness between skilled researchers and early profession researchers among the many contributors of the workshop.
