Following the publication of the handbook European Civil Process (De Gruyter 2026), the European Civil Justice Centre (ECJC) is happy to announce a brand new initiative.
ECJC ‘Civil Justice Conversations’
The ECJC ‘Civil Justice Conversations’ is a brand new sequence of on-line analysis seminars designed to foster scholarly trade and collaboration within the discipline of European civil justice.
Goal & Scope: Advancing European Civil Justice Dialogue
The seminar sequence goals to offer an everyday discussion board for the presentation and dialogue of analysis in European civil justice and associated fields. It seeks to strengthen educational trade throughout jurisdictions and to assist the event of ongoing analysis tasks.
Seminar Conception: Interactive & Dialogical Alternate
The seminars are designed as casual and interactive classes by which contributors could:
Current work-in-progress or extra developed analysis
Obtain constructive suggestions on rising concepts
Interact in dialogue with a chosen discussant and a wider viewers
Specific emphasis is positioned on classes that deliver collectively contrasting or opposing views, fostering important and constructive educational dialogue.

Whereas in-person occasions are additionally envisaged, the net format has been chosen to:

Participation is open to all students and practitioners with an curiosity in European civil justice. Affiliation with the ECJC is just not required.
