Drive-By Shooting Suspect Arrested in Auburn – SPD Blotter


Seattle Police arrested a 23-year-old man in Auburn on Jan. 30 in reference to a sequence of drive-by shootings in Seattle. The suspect was taken into custody at a residence within the 2800 block of thirty fourth Avenue throughout the service of a search warrant by Seattle Police SWAT, the SPD Gun Violence Discount Unit, the Coordinated Violence Investigations Staff, and the Kent Police Division’s Particular Investigations Unit.

The arrest follows an investigation into incidents on Jan. 10, when the motive force of a stolen white Dodge SUV and a white Jaguar SUV allegedly terrorized people alongside the Aurora Avenue North hall. The autos have been concerned in an alternate of gunfire with the motive force of a gold Volkswagen, who fired a number of pictures on the Dodge. The Dodge driver and passenger then chased after and shot at two unrelated autos.

Two days later, the identical Dodge SUV was concerned in one other drive-by taking pictures in entrance of a south Seattle residence advanced. The suspect displayed a firearm and fired 4 pictures into the air earlier than fleeing the scene.

Detectives recognized the suspect, a 23-year-old man from Auburn, and recovered proof throughout the arrest, together with the stolen Dodge SUV and a firearm. The suspect was booked into King County Jail on investigation of assault, drive-by taking pictures, and possession of a stolen automobile.
