Seattle cops arrested a 30-year-old violent felon armed with a machete whereas doing proactive patrols within the Chinatown-Worldwide District yesterday morning.
On Nov. 25 at 2:00 a.m., officers patrolling twelfth Avenue South and South King Road noticed a person they acknowledged with warrants for his arrest.
When officers detained the person, he gave them a false identify to hide his id. They positioned him below arrest for his warrants:
$15,075 home violence warrant for Assault with Sexual Motivation, tried Illegal Imprisonment, Interfering with the Reporting of Home Violence
$1,000 felony warrant for Theft within the 2nd Diploma
Throughout his interplay with the cops, the suspect “turned irate and commenced difficult officers to a struggle, calling officers slurs, and began to flail his legs,” in keeping with the police report.
The suspect, a beforehand convicted felon for Assault, and Intimidating a Public Servant has a “Excessive Violent” danger degree classification.
Police recovered a machete in the course of the arrest. They advisable further felony costs for Illegal Use of Weapons.
Officers booked the suspect into the King County Jail.
