Venezuela authorities condemned over enforced disappearances


Amnesty Worldwide (AI) launched a report on Monday alleging the Venezuelan authorities is utilizing a systemic marketing campaign of enforced disappearances to persecute political opponents.

The report follows 15 individuals who disappeared between the July 2024 election and June 2025, 11 of whom nonetheless have their whereabouts unknown.
