US briefly deploys warships after Chinese military ships’ collision



MANILA, Philippines — The U.S. deployed two warships Wednesday in a disputed South China Sea shoal the place two Chinese language ships collided earlier within the week whereas making an attempt to drive away a smaller Philippine ship in a high-seas accident that raised alarms about maritime security.
