Two handguns, piles of ammunition, shotgun bandoliers, magazines, and knives are actually in SPD proof after the arrest of an 18-year-old in North Seattle yesterday.
On March 12, at 11:45 a.m., patrol officers responded to the Northgate neighborhood after a keen-eyed witness dialed 911 to report a person sleeping in what he thought could be a stolen automobile inside a storage.
As soon as officers arrived on the parking storage within the 11000 block of fifth Avenue Northeast, they discovered the 18-year-old man contained in the Hyundai. The person, in accordance with the report, was surrounded by weapons and tactical tools.
Police arrested the suspect with out incident and recovered:
Handgun and shotgun ammunition
Handgun magazines, shotgun bandoliers
Black balaclava, tactical gloves, knives
The suspect, who’s a three-time convicted felon, is a suspect in a November 2024 armed theft of a comfort retailer. This case stays below investigation.
Police booked the suspect into King County Jail for a number of firearms costs, Theft of a Motor Car, and a $20,075 warrant for Illegal Possession of a Firearm.
As a consequence of his earlier felony convictions, the suspect is prohibited from possessing firearms.
