Since 2013, the division submitted 1.9 million case stories to OIBRS. About 119,000 legal offenses weren’t submitted, totaling 5.3% of circumstances (a number of offenses are generally concerned in a single case). The roughly 119,000 complete uncounted offenses embrace:

Reporting to OIBRS is voluntary, so Columbus police received’t face any penalties from the state for failing to report the crimes.
