A particular courtroom in Pune has granted bail to Congress chief and MP Rahul Gandhi in a legal defamation case filed in opposition to him for making derogatory remarks in opposition to freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.
The MP/MLA courtroom presided by Choose Amol Shinde on Friday granted bail to Gandhi on a surety bond of Rs 25,000.

Satyaki Savarkar, grand-nephew of the liberty fighter, had filed a legal defamation case in opposition to Gandhi over his remarks in opposition to Savarkar.
