Pedestrian Dies After South Park Collision – SPD Blotter

Pedestrian Dies After South Park Collision – SPD Blotter


A 23-year-old man driving a automobile struck and fatally injured a 60-year-old man Thursday evening within the South Park neighborhood.

Officers responded to the intersection of 14th Avenue South and South Henderson Road at 11:00 p.m. after receiving experiences of a collision involving a pedestrian. After they arrived, they discovered the person with critical accidents. Regardless of life-saving efforts by Seattle Fireplace Division medics, the person died on the scene.

Law enforcement officials secured the realm and detectives with the Visitors Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) responded to course of the scene.

Detectives decided the pedestrian had been crossing 14th Avenue South when the automobile hit him. The driving force remained on the scene and cooperated with officers. Police discovered no indicators of impairment.
