Pakistan: Five Militants Killed in Pishin District IBO

Pakistan’s safety forces killed 5 militants in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Pishin district, Balochistan, on 22 February 2026. The Inter-Companies Public Relations (ISPR) described the targets as Indian-sponsored operatives belonging to what the Pakistani state designates as ‘Fitna al Khwarij,‘ and said that one was a suicide bomber.

The forces seized weapons, ammunition, and explosives throughout the operation. ISPR said that the militants have been concerned in assaults throughout the area, with follow-on sanitisation operations ongoing underneath the Azm e Istehkam marketing campaign.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif counseled the safety forces on 23 February, framing the operation as a part of a broader nationwide effort towards militant teams.
