Seattle Police arrested a person for illegal imprisonment and assault in South Seattle three weeks in the past.
On July twenty third at about 6:00 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of doable auto theft with a knife within the 3900 block of South Othello Road.
Officers have been supplied with a car description and shortly positioned the 45-year-old suspect and arrested him. He was armed with a 3 and 1/2-inch knife.
Whereas investigating, police discovered the concerned events knew one another. After choosing his buddy up to hang around, the sufferer reported the suspect held him at knifepoint towards his will and compelled him to drive to a close-by financial institution.
The sufferer, 34, managed to flee to security. He believes he could have been lower by the knife in a defensive swipe whereas fleeing the car. He sustained a minor harm to his hand.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail for Illegal Imprisonment and Assault in lieu of $100,000 bail.
