Seattle cops arrested a 23-year-old man for hate crime and felony assault in Capitol Hill Sunday morning.
On June 8, at about 1:00 a.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a person attempting to get into an LGBTQ+ nightclub and posturing to combat safety. Shortly thereafter, the caller reported that he was now preventing with a number of folks and attempting to power his means inside.
When police arrived, the suspect ran away from them to keep away from arrest. He ran to the 1500 block of Minor Avenue and tried to get into one other nightclub when officers caught as much as him and arrested him.
An SPD officer was additionally injured in the course of the arrest. The Seattle Hearth Division handled him on scene and officers transported him to Harborview Medical Middle for analysis.
Police decided that the suspect put the sufferer in a headlock, strangled them, and precipitated a number of accidents whereas screaming anti-gay and anti-trans slurs.
