Seattle Police arrested a person for firing off a gun a number of occasions in South Seattle final week.
On July 4th at 9:12 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a person strolling and taking pictures a gun within the 4500 block of South Fletcher Avenue.
Police situated and processed the scene and recovered a number of shell casings. No accidents have been reported. No property injury was situated.
Whereas investigating, officers situated the 42-year-old man within a close-by residence and positioned him beneath arrest for Aiming or Discharging a Firearm.
Police recovered the handgun and extra ammunition and seized them as proof.
Detectives with the Gun Violence Discount Unit have taken lead on this investigation.
