Seattle Police arrested a person after stabbing one other following an altercation in Downtown Seattle, Sunday afternoon.
At 5:19 p.m., patrol officers responded to studies of three folks preventing within the 400 block of third Avenue in Metropolis Corridor Park. Police arrived and situated a sufferer bleeding from a stab wound to his chest.
The 50-year-old man was handled by the Seattle Hearth Division for non-life-threatening accidents. He was transported to Harborview Medical Middle in secure situation.
The suspect, 52, accused the sufferer of stealing his backpack. This triggered the altercation and assault. The waiter’s corkscrew believed for use within the assault was recovered as proof.
Officers contacted a 49-year-old witness and decided that she had a no-contact order towards the suspect. She was not injured throughout this incident.
The person was arrested and booked into King County Jail for Assault 1st Diploma, Violation of a No Contact Order, and an arrest warrant for home violence Assault 4th Diploma.
Detectives with the Murder & Assault Unit are investigating this case.
