Summary
Federalism is the separation of powers between the union authorities and the state authorities, i.e. delegation of authorities to totally different sectors. The idea of federalism within the Indian structure is taken from the structure of Canada. India can’t be thought-about as a federal state utterly because it has options of each unitary type of authorities and a federal type of authorities.
Within the Indian structure, we will see the options of a union authorities in addition to that of unitary type of authorities.
