On Monday, August 18, at 6:16 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision within the 2800 block of Thorndyke Avenue West.
Upon arrival, officers situated a 70-year-old male driver with essential accidents and a 25-year-old feminine driver with minor accidents. Seattle Fireplace Division medics offered help to each people. Regardless of lifesaving efforts, the male was pronounced deceased on the scene. Medics handled and launched the feminine on the scene.
Officers discovered the male driver was touring southbound in a purple Toyota when he crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a grey Jeep pushed by the feminine. Â
A Drug Recognition Professional evaluated the feminine driver and located no indicators of impairment.
