Seattle police detectives are investigating after a male was struck and killed by a freight practice close to the Belltown waterfront this morning.
Simply earlier than 10 a.m. patrol officers and firefighters responded to stories of a person hit by a BNSF practice close to Alaskan Method South and Broad Avenue. The Seattle Fireplace Division pronounced the person deceased.Â
Police decided that the male was strolling westbound on Broad Avenue and waited because the Southbound practice glided by. When he walked throughout the tracks, he was unaware of the incoming northbound practice and was fatally struck.
The practice engineer informed officers he was touring 15 miles per hour and was solely two miles from his remaining vacation spot. No prison investigation was performed by police.Â
