Seattle law enforcement officials on the Belltown proactive crew arrested a 34-year-old man in possession of medication, money, and armed with a gun in Downtown Seattle final night time.
On Sept. 28 at about 8:00 p.m., patrol officers working within the space of third Avenue and Pine Road noticed a person standing on the nook holding drug paraphernalia in his hand. The suspect started jogging away from officers when he noticed them, but they rapidly arrested him.
Officers recognized the suspect as having each felony and misdemeanor warrants for his arrest. In response to the police report, “Narcotics sellers are sometimes armed and have massive quantities of money in addition to narcotics on their particular person.”
Police recovered a handgun, $203 money, and 0.9 grams of Fentanyl from the suspect. Officers booked the suspect into the King County Jail for weapons and narcotics violations. The suspect, a convicted felon, is prohibited from having weapons.
The Belltown proactive crew labored to handle avenue crimes close to twelfth Avenue South and South Jackson Road and the Pike and Pine Road areas, making seven extra arrests for drug violations.
