ATM smash-and-grab crew linked to 18 overnight burglaries since June


Chicago police are warning enterprise homeowners a couple of housebreaking crew believed to be behind at the least 18 smash-and-grab thefts focusing on ATMs in neighborhoods throughout the town since early June. July 31, 2:21 a.m. – 4300 block of West Cermak Street

July 31, 3:21 a.m. – 3200 block of North Cicero Avenue

August 1, 3:21 a.m. – 5600 block of West Madison Road

August 2, 11:50 p.m. – 5900 block of West Division Road

August 5, 3:35 a.m. – 1800 block of South Ashland Avenue

August 5, 4:19 a.m. – First block of South Pulaski Street

August 6, 3:52 a.m. – 1300 block of West Taylor Road

August 8, 2:08 a.m. – 5300 block of West Madison Road

Police describe the offenders as two to 5 Black males carrying black masks, darkish clothes, darkish sneakers, and darkish gloves.
