AD/CVD News: New Case Filed Against Oleoresin Paprika from India | Customs & International Trade Law Blog

A brand new antidumping and countervailing responsibility motion has been filed in opposition to Oleoresin Paprika imported from India. The allegation is that imports from India are unfairly sponsored and being dumped.

Background on AD/CVD Investigations 

Antidumping responsibility (“AD”) and countervailing responsibility (“CVD”) investigations are introduced collectively by the U.S. Worldwide Commerce Fee (“USITC”) and the U.S. Division of Commerce (“Commerce”). AD investigations are triggered when a home trade alleges that it has been injured by competing imports of explicit items from particular nations being offered at lower than a good worth.
