Seattle law enforcement officials arrested a 17-year-old teen for felony property harm throughout a Downtown protest march Saturday afternoon.
On November ninth at about 3:30 p.m., roughly 200 people participated within the Construct the Individuals’s Motion demonstration on the Area Needle at 400 Broad Road.
The demonstrators marched southbound on fifth Avenue from the Area Needle in the direction of Downtown Seattle disrupting site visitors and violating municipal legal guidelines.
Group Response Group (CRG) officers noticed a number of tags of black spray paint graffiti on vertical concrete columns of the Seattle Monorail. The harm was brought on on fifth Ave between Denny Method and Bell Road.
CRG situated and arrested the teenager suspect for Malicious Mischief 2nd Diploma. Police recovered black spray paint as proof and located matching paint on her arms.
Police spoke to the juvenile detention workers on the Kids & Household Justice Middle, they declined to guide her for the felony crime(s).
The suspect was processed on the West Precinct because of her juvenile standing and launched to the custody of her mother and father.
The graffiti is everlasting and wrote varied phrases and statements. Metropolis service crews will likely be wanted to take away/clear the broken property.
