Consumer’s staff search approval of information breach settlement after BigLaw agency hack

Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and its consumer Mondelez International have agreed to pay $750,000 to settle claims by Mondelez staff whose non-public data could have been compromised in a hack of the regulation agency’s community.

A category of about 53,000 present and former Mondelez staff requested U.S. District Choose Jorge L. Alonso to preliminarily approve the settlement in an Oct. 4 memorandum of regulation.

Lawyer charges of as much as $250,000 for sophistication counsel would come from the settlement fund.
