Vice President J.D. Vance, who hosted Kirk’s podcast days after the assassination, invoked what he referred to as a civil society. “It flows from all of us. So whenever you see somebody celebrating Charlie’s homicide, name them out, and hell, name their employer,” Vance instructed listeners.
