Car thief allegedly steals Porsche, crashes into three cars and flips over in Midtown


A automobile thief with two prior arrests was charged after allegedly stealing a lady’s Porsche crashing it into three autos and flipping it over in Midtown whereas making an attempt to flee police Friday afternoon.

Calvin Jones was hit with a bevy of expenses after allegedly stealing a 39-year-old girl’s 2022 Porsche SUV that she left working on fifteenth Avenue and Union Sq. East, NYPD sources stated.

Police stated they have been notified of the theft at 3:04 pm Friday.

A person was arrested after allegedly stealing a automobile and flipping it over in Midtown.

Jones, 40, has two prior arrests on assault expenses, police stated.

After they arrived on the scene, they discovered that the sufferer was monitoring her automobile by way of an app on her mobile phone.

The police tracked Jones down and tried to tug him over — however he as a substitute allegedly tried to flee and crashed his automobile right into a 2019 Audi sedan and a 2016 Audi SUV and a 2024 Cadillac SUV, police sources stated.

A black car, possibly a Porsche, is overturned on a city street, with two police officers standing nearby.

The perp allegedly crashed into three autos earlier than overturning his automobile.

Three individuals, two males aged 30 and 56 and a 39-year-old girl, have been inside the Cadillac on the time of the crash however weren’t injured, police stated.

The automobile proceeded to flip over and Jones was hospitalized at Bellevue in steady condtion.

He was arrested and charged with grand larceny auto, felony possession of stolen property, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, unauthorized use of a car, reckless driving, and driving and not using a license.
