2025 NGPIL Conflict of Laws’ Essay Prize – Conflict of Laws

The Nigeria Group on Personal Worldwide Regulation invitations submissions for the annual NGPIL Battle of Legal guidelines’ Competitors. The winner will probably be awarded for the very best essay on any side of Nigerian battle of legal guidelines. Entries will probably be accepted from the next: an undergraduate and/or postgraduate scholar learning in Nigeria, or any Nigerian lawyer 5 years name or beneath practising and residing in Nigeria. The essay must be unpublished on the time of submission. Submitted essays must be within the English language. Submitted essays must also be inside 5 to eight thousand phrases. Opponents could also be residents of any nation, age or gender however should be an undergraduate and/or postgraduate scholar learning in Nigeria, or any lawyer beneath 5 years post-call expertise practising and residing in Nigeria.

The primary prize is 200,000 Naira (NGN), and the winner of the competitors will probably be inspired to publish the paper in any high-quality peer reviewed journal on non-public worldwide regulation (battle of legal guidelines). The second prize is 120,000 Naira (NGN), and third prize is 80,000 Naira (NGN). The prize is sponsored by and will probably be awarded by NGPIL.

Submissions to the Prize Committee should be acquired no later than 31 October 2025. Entries must be submitted by electronic mail in Phrase or pdf format. The winner will probably be introduced no later than 2 months after the deadline. Choices of the NGPIL on the profitable essay and on any circumstances regarding this prize are closing. Submissions and any queries must be addressed by electronic mail to ngpilaw@gmail.com. All submissions will probably be acknowledged by e-mail.
