On Friday, August 22, at 6:49 p.m., officers responded to a report of a capturing close to the intersection of Blanchard Avenue and 1st Avenue within the Belltown neighborhood.
Officers arrived and contacted a 24-year-old male who had been shot within the hand. The sufferer reported {that a} suspect approached him, pressed a handgun to his rib cage, and tried to rob him. The suspect then shot the sufferer and fled eastbound via an alley.
Police supplied medical support till Seattle Fireplace Division medics arrived. Medics transported the sufferer through American Medical Response (AMR) to Harborview Medical Heart in steady situation with a non-life-threatening damage.
Officers searched the realm however didn’t find the suspect.
