Centre notifies transfer of 17 High Court judges – India Legal


The Union authorities on Monday authorised the switch of 17 Excessive Court docket judges.

The Supreme Court docket Collegium had really helpful the switch of twenty-two judges on Could 26. Out of those, the Ministry of Regulation & Justice authorised 17 names right now.

The judges chosen for switch included 4 from the Allahabad Excessive Court docket; three from the Punjab and Haryana Excessive Court docket; two every from Telangana Excessive Court docket, Rajasthan Excessive Court docket, Madras Excessive Court docket and Gauhati Excessive Court docket; and one every from Kerala Excessive Court docket and the Karnataka Excessive Court docket.

Out of 4 judges from the Allahabad Excessive Court docket, two had been transferred to the Delhi Excessive Court docket, together with Justice Om Prakash Shukla and Justice Vivek Chaudhary. Apart from, Justice Jayant Banerji was transferred to the Karnataka Excessive Court docket and Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra was chosen to serve on the Punjab and Haryana Excessive Court docket.

From the Punjab and Haryana Excessive Court docket, out of three judges, whereas Justice Anil Kshetarpal was chosen to serve the Delhi Excessive Court docket, Justice Sudhir Singh and Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma had been transferred to their respective guardian Excessive Courts at Patna and Rajasthan.

Justice Arun Kumar Monga (guardian Excessive Court docket, Punjab and Haryana), presently serving on the Rajasthan Excessive Court docket, was transferred to the Delhi Excessive Court docket. Justice Shree Chandrashekhar (guardian Excessive Court docket Jharkhand), additionally serving on the Rajasthan Excessive Court docket, was chosen to serve on the Bombay Excessive Court docket.

From Telangana Excessive Court docket, whereas Justice Sujoy Paul (guardian Excessive Court docket, Madhya Pradesh) was chosen to serve on the Calcutta Excessive Court docket, Justice Tadakamalla Vinod Kumar was transferred to the Madras Excessive Court docket.

Justice Vivek Kumar Singh (guardian Excessive Court docket, Allahabad), presently serving on the Madras Excessive Court docket, was chosen to serve on the Madhya Pradesh Excessive Court docket. Justice Battu Devanand (guardian Excessive Court docket, Andhra Pradesh), additionally serving on the Madras Excessive Court docket, was transferred to the Andhra Pradesh Excessive Court docket.

Justice Lanusungkum Jamir, presently serving on the Gauhati Excessive Court docket, was chosen to serve on the Calcutta Excessive Court docket. Justice Suman Shyam, additionally serving on the Gauhati Excessive Court docket, was transferred to the Bombay Excessive Court docket.

Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh (guardian Excessive Court docket, Allahabad) was transferred from the Kerala Excessive Court docket to the Karnataka Excessive Court docket.

Justice V Kameswar Rao, presently serving on the Karnataka Excessive Court docket, was chosen to serve on the Delhi Excessive Court docket.
