NJ teens accused of setting raging wildfire told cops Mexicans started it



The 2 New Jersey youngsters accused of setting the devastating Jones Street Wildfire that has scorched greater than 15,000 acres initially blamed the blaze on Mexicans, in response to authorities.

Joseph Kling, 19, and his 17-year-old co-defendant each allegedly lied to cops after they had been interviewed in regards to the Ocean Depend conflagration, and their potential connection to it.

They each blamed the fireplace on Mexicans they stated they’d seen within the woods simply earlier than the blaze started, reported the Asbury Park Press.

Each defendants are being held in police custody.

The second teenager was arrested Thursday, and charged with aggravated arson and hindering apprehension.
