Cybercriminals who run RaaS platforms have shifted towards malware-less methods with higher stealth and class. These assaults usually nonetheless lead to extortion or information theft, however they bypass many standard detection mechanisms by avoiding using recordsdata or recognizable malware signatures.

BreachLock breaks down the malware-less assault methods and the best way to defend towards them in its weblog submit. This information base comes on the heels of a report from Cybersecurity Ventures that predicts ransomware injury prices will price the world $57 billion in 2025, and develop to a staggering $275 billion by 2031.

As we speak, defenders should assume like attackers, anticipating techniques, closing visibility gaps, and aligning instruments and groups round real-time response.
