A 21-year-old man was shot at a downtown Seattle resort Saturday night, March 8.
At 5:57 p.m., a dispatcher obtained studies of a taking pictures within the 1400 block of sixth Avenue. Officers arrived on the scene and located the sufferer affected by a gunshot wound to the chest. Officers supplied first support till Seattle Hearth Division personnel arrived, and the person was transported to Harborview Medical Heart in critical situation.
Witnesses said that 4 people had been within the resort room on the time of the incident. A 23-year-old man was reportedly dealing with a firearm that he didn’t know was loaded, which discharged and struck the sufferer unintentionally.
Detectives from the Gun Violence Discount Unit are investigating the circumstances main as much as the taking pictures. Officers recovered the firearm on the scene.
The suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail on prices of assault and firearm-related offenses.
